My Friend's Wedding

FIRST LET ME START off with I know this is really late, nearly a week after it's happened but I just haven't been in a blogging kinda mood.. So here it is...

A couple of weeks ago I attended and photographed the wedding of my good friend Precious and his now husband Robinson. In typical Precious style, she managed to pick the one simple place which guaranteed everyone had to travel at least 30 minutes to get there.

Here's some photos:

The beautiful bride...

...and her groom.
They look cute and perfect together, ayt?

Precious and Robinson lit their wedding/unity candle, as a symbol of their marriage. The candles from which they light it represent each of them in the fullness of their personhood.

After the ceremony! Me with the beautiful bride :)

The perfect kiss!!!

Sushi -- My most favorite dish in the event! I love he flowery design, s0 cute!

and guys, I’m going to do separate posts for my outfit... so, here's a sneak peek. I'll blog about this tomorrow. Keep in touch!

P.S.: I set up again a new Facebook Fan Page "It's a GIRL Thing", because I'm having trouble using my old Fan Page "CutestPrincess Journey". I have lost my 1,000+ followers :( , so please follow my Facebook Fanpage again here. Thank You so much!

Red Stiletto

I BOUGHT this romper and bag online and I LOVE IT! They are surprisingly comfortable. As soon as I saw this romper I was completely in love! Great shape and color, so easy to wear and works with everything. I’ve been shopping so much online, because it’s much quicker than driving to the store, shopping, queuing and driving home again. So, a few clicks of the mouse and your shopping is pretty much done.

I have my Paypal account and im using it buying stuff online, my country is not yet available to add funds to Paypal account and I don't have credit card yet. I'm a freelance online writer for almost four years now and I'm accepting payments monthly via PayPal. If you're interested, please visit my site here. They’re actually looking for other writers to register to the site, I can say that this site has the most user-friendly interface where you can write anything...as in everything about everything. They can give you more money in the long run, I swear. Just in case you’re a bit interested, you may do so by clicking here.

Perfectly Pink

I'VE HAD PROBLEMS with my very slow connections for quite a while now without really knowing why. Since this problem was occurring frequently I happened to solve the problem, as I little knowledge about this and it works from time to time, before giving a call to the technical support people. But finally my internet connection is working fine and all the connection right now is in stable mode. I will visit your blog more often from now.

As I promise (here), here's what I wore to my sister-in-law's wedding two weeks earlier. These photos really should have been posted earlier because I much prefer outdoor photos because of natural light. As wind and weather conditions conspired against me, I didn't get a chance to re-shoot. But I'm glad, yesterday, mother nature allows me.

Stripe Ahead

FORGIVE ME, it has been three days since my last post. I miss all your blogs and I really want to comment back but I have a problem with my internet connection for almost three days now, only email works. Every time I try to visit a different blogs it redirects automatically to some weird IP. Grrrr...

This post takes 24hrs until it's done, Yay! I have to wait one hour until a one photo is loading to 50%, and often stop uploading at some point until I reach it. But thank God, I've made it.

Well, this outfit I'm wearing was definitely inspired by one of my favorite blogger Emmanuella. Stripes on denim looks really good, right?

I wore this sometime last week to church. I bought this blazer on the midnight sale in Tutuban, I really like the style and the fabric is really good. The sales lady told me that all of their clothes are from Singapore. Like Emmanuella, I paired the blazer with black and white stripe dress that my mom made for me. :)

The Best of Luneta Park

NOTE: This post is from last year, from my old blog. I decided to delete that blog due to lack of updates but I realized just how much of a treasure it is. So I'll transfer some important and precious post entry here! Enjoy!

Rizal Park, also known as Luneta Park, is a historical urban park located at the northern terminus of Roxas Boulevard in the heart of the city of Manila, Philippines. It was the largest park in Asia and is the place where the national hero was executed.

If you desire to walk amidst the beauty of the nature away from the hustle bustle of the city, then numerous parks and gardens in Manila are places to be in. It would also be time to get to know the culture of the place.

A tribute to the country's national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, it marks the spot where Rizal, accused by the Spanish authorities of leading the insurrection, was executed by a firing squad.

Rizal Park is also a famous venue for family picnics.

You can find the best museums in the city and bayside restaurants for the budget travelers and people looking for a fine dine experience. There is also an open air theater that features free classical music concerts. For the health conscious, you can also go jogging or join other tai chi enthusiasts.

Apart from its grassy expanse, Luneta also features a Planetarium, dozens of fountains, an amphitheatre, a children's playground, a skating rink and the Chinese and Japanese gardens.

Chinese Garden are found within Rizal Park.

It was established by the Chinese community as an additional attraction. An entrance designed with an ornate Chinese gate flanked by seemingly swirling dragons greets visitors. There are also pagodas and gazebos with red pillars and green tiled roofs decorated with mythical figures. There is a pond and an area where you can find poems written in Chinese giving visitors a sense of serenity.

The Japanese Garden are also found within Rizal Park, is authentic but in miniature. It was developed to promote friendship and mutual understanding between the Japanese and Filipino people.

The Children’s Playground at Rizal Park has been revived and renovated! It’s cleaner, more colorful and child friendly. There’s an entrance fee of PHP10.00 and children 2 years and above are to pay in full.

After a spending a day filled with activities you can now take a breather and enjoy the golden sunset on the bay walk along Roxas Boulevard facing Manila Bay.

At night, the park is transformed into a romantic rendezvous for lovers.

Strolling in THE LUNETA park on Sundays. Also watch the honor guard at the Rizal Memorial in the Park. There are often concerts and other performances. On Roxas Boulevard near the Manila Hotel. It's fun to take a horse-drawn calesa around the Park. However bargain on the price before you start. It should be about PHP250=US$5.00 for special round trip, if you are
able to bargain without flinching.

Something Magical

I MENTIONED here how much I love photography and that's my first themed photoshoot. Since we are surrounded with tress, grasses and lagoon I came up with ideas like "Lady in the Forest" and this one is "Something Magical". All photos are taken at the same time -- sorry for the delay.

Theming your photoshoot give you a unique story to your photos. I came up with a theme and a title for the photo shoot beforehand. Thinking about a title for the photo shoot helped me concentrate on exactly what I wanted to convey with my photos. Maybe I'll have to try balloon shoot next time :) I posted here some of my inspiration with balloon photoshoots! I LOVE balloons!

How about you, what theme do you want to have?

Marc & Mahal Nuptials (Reception)

ON OCTOBER 9th, 2011, family and friends of Mark and Mahal had the wonderful privilege of witnessing the holy matrimony of two special individuals, whom God had chosen to become one.

After the wedding ceremony was over we headed over to the reception hall. The first item that I got to eat at the reception were some yummy fruits with design, I didn’t know I had to eat them because they looked too pretty to eat. We then got some yummy garden salad, following that was my main course. Served with the main course were steak, lechon, and some other foods that I didn't know the name, lol! They made vegetables taste sooooo good (I wish I had some now!!!) We then had desert, yum…we had some yummy mini brownies with icing on top. I also like the chocolate sauce with nuts on a small glass... oh so yummy!

If you haven't seen pictures from the wedding ceremony, you can see them by clicking here.

I forgot to take a picture of those colorful and yummy foods, but when I realized that...all the food is gone! Yay!

Anyway, here's some other photos:

Well, That's all for now! Tomorrow, I'll go to attend another wedding. *So excited*

PS: Thank you for all your votes! The giveaway is now closed and I'll announce the winner next week! Have a great weekend lovelies!

Marc & Mahal Nuptials (Ceremony)

LAST SUNDAY, I attended my sister-in-law’s wedding. She's my husband's only sister. I photographed her wedding "for experience" and was pretty pleased with most of the outcome, though the lighting was a challenge for a beginner with little equipment. Experience is ALWAYS good. She hired a professional photographer that does photography, so the 'formal' stuff is covered.
Here's my first wedding photography:

I'm happy for them both. Hopefully their marriage will be lasting forever :')

-----------------------------------------------------

As I say I am not the main photographer so not quite so much pressure, but I still want to do the best I can. Since I probably won't have time to take my pics in the wedding, I quickly took one outfit pics so that I have something to show you and I'm so proud because this dress is handmade by my mom. I’m planning on wearing this dress again next weekend for my proper outfit post, watch out!

P.S.: Mango x LB contest is still running, and I still need your help! Please hype my look here and you can also join my giveaway here. Thanks for all your support, guys!
