Chapter 44: A Blooming June Story

Every year, I have a personal tradition, a birthday photoshoot. I don’t throw parties or plan grand events. I celebrate quietly, through captured moments that reflect who I am and where I am in life.

This year, I turned 44. No loud celebrations, just a peaceful afternoon, a white dress, and a bunch of white balloons. I walked through an open field surrounded by tall grass and stillness, with only the sound of nature and the soft rustle of the wind as my background music.



There was something calming about the whole experience. The simplicity of the scene matched exactly how I feel about entering this chapter, clear, calm, and comfortable in my own skin. I wore white not to symbolize perfection, but to reflect clarity and peace. The balloons weren’t just props, they were a subtle symbol of lightness, letting go, and moving forward freely.



I love how this yearly ritual allows me to pause and be present. It's not just about taking nice photos, it's about honoring my growth in a way that feels authentic to me. Looking at these images, I see a woman who has learned to embrace solitude, who finds joy in quiet things, and who’s proud of her journey so far.
