One trend I am eager to jump all over, is the checker board prints. Checker board print can be tricky, as by nature the prints are loud and attention grabber. So, I kept my accessories simple and wore just a few statement pieces like my neon bag and pumps -- inspired by retro sixties with a classic twist. A little check can go a long way, no matter where you decide to include the pattern in your wardrobe, but make sure you keep at least one part of your outfit a solid color to go easy on the eyes.
