19 Brilliant Strategies to Live a Better Life

If you’re asking yourself how you can live a better life, then this list is for you. Look no further, here are some of the choices you need to make in order to see this world for the wonderful place it is. Enjoy these 19 brilliant strategies to live a better life.

1. Never use social media to express how much you hate social media. Think about it.

2. Watch the The Bachelor. It will make you feel intelligent beyond compare or the Gossip Girl, it will make you feel like you’re one of those Manhattan’s elite.

3. People who don't comment on Instagram pictures are pebbles in the shoe of life. Do it. Do it right now. My IG username is @julieann_lozada ðŸ˜„

4. Be good to people. It's such a wonderful legacy to leave behind.

5. "Comparison is the thief of joy." Learn this concept. Engrave it in your mind. Once you accept that comparing yourself to others is a complete waste of time, you will be so much happier.

6. Social media is a huge part of our life. Use this properly like to connect with people we love and to document our life to inspire others. Don’t use this to bash people you don’t like and to stalk your ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend. It will save some heartache.

7. Never convince yourself extra rice is a bad idea. How dare. If it tastes good on first try, it’s gonna taste good on the second and third tries as well.

8. It's cool to have opinions. It's cool to know what's going on in the world. But, remember, you are not edgy and different because you have a controversial opinion. You're also in high school. Keep that in mind next time you decide to jump into a twitter/facebook fight about politics.

9. Always dress like you're going to run into your ex-boyfriend. Khloe Kardashian said the best revenge was a good body. I'm also typing this, while doing squats.

10. Apologize. To everyone you've ever wronged. No matter how long it's been. It's worth it, I promise. Here, I'll start...

Mr. Policemen,
I'm sorry I said you’re dumb AF. Also I'm sorry for sending you anonymous twitter hate during the "Operation Tokhang" phase. I'm not proud of those times. I'm hoping we can move forward and support each other professionally from here on out.

PS: (But please stop the lawless and stupid actions, thank you.)

11. Choose good and real friends. Plastic people belong to the trash, not to your life.

12. Eat more plants. Not animals. The earth was made for all beings, not only human beings.

13. Not everyone is going to think you’re cool and that’s okay! They’re wrong tho. Believe in yourself.

14. Life was too short to waste time in a class you don’t like to take. Or a job you aren’t interested in. Or in a toxic relationship. Or the countless hours you spent on Youtube watching stupid videos. So, change your life.

15. Sat down and write a list of a life you wanted. Cross out the “Go to Mars” and “Live happily ever after” and focused on a few realistic goals like on my list:

1. Swim in the Mediterranean Sea
2. Marry Leonardo Dicaprio
3. One on one debate with Mr. President
4. Watch the Olympics in person
5. Save the world, the universe rather.

16. Count your blessings, not calories. RIGHT LADIES?

17. Men should have a powerful body (like muscles and abs) honed by hard physical labor – not from an expensive membership at the gym.

18. Stop comparing guys to movie characters. Truthfully, we are asking a lot from boys when we post a status and tweet things like, "Why can't all guys be like Empoy?" Hello?! I mean, he's a character in a movie given good lines not all guys are going to be like that. In your dreams.

19. Show love to everyone. This world is fallen and desperate for love.

Whipped Sugar Waxing and Scrub Salon

I hate shaving my armpits just as much as anyone else. Shaving can be a royal pain. From the ingrown hairs, to the cost of razors, no one is going to write a book about the joys of shaving armpits anytime soon.

So, I searched online what the best waxing salon is nearby and since I have a very low pain tolerance, the Whipped Sugar Waxing and Scrub Salon caught my attention because they offer the yummiest and pain-free waxing experience. Sounds great, ayt?

I decided to visit the Ayala Malls Southpark Alabang and I was amazed by their candy themed salon, very accommodating ambiance and I was welcomed by their friendly staff.

The salon has individual private waxing cubicles with beds and simple interiors so you can just relax while your waxing sessions are ongoing.

Whether I look forward to going to the hair salon, spa or waxing salon, going to a safe and clean environment is my priority. I am a sucker for good hygiene and impeccable cleanliness when it comes to personal zone. First, I'll make sure the treatment room is spotless and that the waxing supplies are impeccably clean. Sanitation is one of the most important things I pay attention to when evaluating my salon experience, to make sure I'm working in a way where they value these things as top priority.

As a client, we should consider the cleanliness as a whole, once you get a general idea of how they care for their patients and salon as a whole, you can make a better determination about whether they are right for you.

I have to say, I love the Whipped Sugar waxing and Salon, their service is excellent and they are definitely a huge thumbs up for hygiene. You just have to find the right branch for you.
Anyhoo, because I don't really into a long post, I wanted to share with you my underarm waxing experience on my next blog post.

Some of their branches are located in:
Eight Forbes Town Center, SM Cherry Shaw and Ayala Malls Southpark Alabang

Cold Wind

Y'all if it's gonna be this cold outside then it should at least be snowing. I'm literally praying for snow everyday.

I live in Philippines, a tropical country where summers are long, cold weather are short and oh so sweet. During cold weather (December-February) I haven't figured out how to be able to spend all day on a blanket at the park, walking somewhere gives me a great excuse to savor a few sweet moments of cold wind. We spent a lot of time walking around and taking pictures, though I'm freezing because I'm a cold blooded, luckily my FashionMia hooded dress  kept me warm on the inside and my super comfy red boots were actually quite comfortable for that kind of trip. The scenery is simple and peaceful and so beautiful to photograph!

I'm a passionate online shopper and love to look for the online-only deals. I can find things online that I just can’t find in physical stores specially in clothes. I love to buy a one of a kind collection, styles and items that are “internet only.” Thanks to exciting cash back offers, super saver deals, etc., I can never get weary of shopping online. It's the world at your finger tips.

Talk about online shopping and the first thing that comes in my mind is Yoins. Online shopper's should know that Yoins is one of the trustworthy website offering really cheap products. From big sales and discounts to all kind of dresses, cute crop tops, bottoms, matching outfits, accessories, you name, they have it -- even those hot sexy lingerie. 2018 Make Magic Happen

It’s on! 2018 is the time to make magic happen!
Today I’ve spent most of the day reflecting on the past year and everything that happened. Even though it seems like time flies unbelievably quickly, I definitely felt each moment of 2017 grasp my heart and carry me away day by day, minute by minute. Since a few years, I’ve set myself for goal to enjoy and embrace each and every second like it was my last… I have never felt more alive. Starting the year with a burst of positive energy and hope is truly priceless. And don’t get me wrong, I don’t try to plan everything ahead. Letting life surprise you and receiving unexpected lessons is what makes living so enjoyable and exciting after all. How boring would it be if each challenge, if each goal we had was so easy to accomplish. My resolutions gravitate towards a general vision.

I have a feeling that 2018 has a special purpose that’s much bigger than anything I’ve ever experienced. I don’t know why or what it is… And, I don’t want to know. I want to wake up each morning and have butterflies in my stomach. Just like going on a date for the first time. I’m giddy for the growth it holds, the dreams that’ll come to pass, and all the memories to be made. I’m giddy for another chapter—another learning curve. I’m giddy for all the laughs, love and adventures.

This year, I want to stand taller—love harder. I want to love others so boldly and wildly—they wonder why. I pray to fall even deeper in love with God and continue to build and nurture my relationship with Him so I may learn to live a life that points only to Him. I will follow my own path and create a life that I could be proud of, and part of that process involves me simplifying my life. I have always been the person to surround myself with "things" to make myself feel whole, and as I get older, I've quickly learned that those "things" are not what make you happy. Family, friends, adventures, seeing new places, meeting new people, and capturing the world around me with my camera – that’s happiness to me. Having a story to tell along the way, that's what life is all about, creating your own story, one you can be proud of.

As I mentioned before HERE, I decided from the beginning to keep my blog a positive place, where you feel inspired with a healthy flow of messages and energy. I just hope, from the bottom of my heart, that sharing with you my adventures, or even simply my looks, inspires you, takes your mind off of something, or maybe even your stress or anger away for a couple of minutes to drown in a little world of travel, adventure, fun and fashion.

It was so nice to have worked really hard for the past year, and finally have my work get appreciated. Since I started blogging, I'd estimate I have received a million views, and visited by 183 countries according to my blog statistic. I was overwhelmed, honestly.

So, I want to send out a huge thank you and endless love to all of my beautiful readers, followers, friends and sponsor for all of the gift, collaboration, kind words and encouragement you send me every day. My blog and Instagram has been my favorite place to find inspiration, a way for me to connect with such special people from all around the world and it's helped me grow in so many ways! I am so proud and happy for it all because we’re building something truly magical and it always made me want to push to the next level

I think I’ll forever be thankful for 2017—I just really believe 2018 is going to be a year for the business, books, photography and of course fashion; and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Happy New Year!
