Flower Lover

SO, I FINALLY wore it... my beautiful floral maxi dress. I must say tho, I´ve never been a maxi person, not even since then. I feel a bit uncomfortable in it, because I’ve gotten the idea that I look stupid in it and that it doesn’t suit me at all, maybe I'm too small for maxi dresses. But the color of the flower in it caught my eyes. I told you.. I'm a flower lover! My life is not complete without flower!

And, by the way... sorry for the bad quality of my photos today! I can't figure out what's wrong, it's either my Dslr's settings or the person who took these pictures, lol... (sorry cuz, you should practice more! hehe)!

I was in a rush... so, 'till here! Have a great day, everyone!

Denim on Denim

HI EVERYONE! Hows your day going? Mine was kicking ass - it's hard for me to get up 6am everyday, but I need to work, ugh!. Often, my most productive hours are between midnight and 2 or 3AM. By midmorning I'm sleepy, and by late afternoon it's torture trying to stay awake! I'm one of those rare people who can survive on less than five hours of sleep but I started noticing that my eye bags are barely visible and the creepy fine wrinkles look perfect. I should get enough of zzz's, but that's impossible now... why?.. Hmmm.... I want to tell you why but it would take me too long or perhaps be too boring to explain. Lol!

Actually, I don't get any eye bags and dark circles even I don't often get enough of sleep since then. But this morning, when I just woke up there is pain under my eye and I noticed this horrible eye bags! OMG, Super un-attractive! I hope it will be gone by next morning!

Anyway... here's my outfit of day with my new eye bags... Yay!! :(

Star City

I'M BACK -- and as I promised here, here are some pictures from my trip to Star City. You'll notice that I'm wearing the same outfit from my previous post, I just blog my outfit post separately but it took on the same day. Well, I hope you'll enjoy the pics!

Star City is one of the most popular amusement and holiday theme parks in Metro Manila. It's always been the favorite theme park destination of our Filipino families, especially those who can’t afford to travel all the way to Sta. Rosa, Laguna to see the Enchanted Kingdom.

Star City photo wall

Inside the Star City grounds are lots of tall, colorful and shady trees. The ceiling is peppered with hanging artificial vine plants that are actually so colorful which add to its charm.

This Dragon rides (I forgot the name)is one of the latest attractions which were already available to be experienced. It inspired by the Chinese Dragon Dance with Chinese House and bamboo tree in the center.

Wanna go to Neverland? Then visit and experience the story and relive the adventure of the boy who never grows old, Peter Pan.This is a walk-though spell binding fantasy attraction bringing to life the tale and adventures of Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and the rest of the kids.

A closer look to my new Korean cap. <3

I'm probably as good of a real-life race car driver as I am in video games! Lol!

Everybody loves a merry-go-round! Step right up and pick a ride! Children and parents will want a go at this all-time carnival favourite.

I'm in love with all things nature inspired and handmade.

I didn't go on any of the rides because I've been here a lot of times already and I've already experienced all the fun rides especially the extreme ones. So, I was just sitting there chillin' while waiting for my companion who's enjoying the rides. It's raining hard outside so I din't get photos of those biggest and tallest rides that I had hoped for.

I had the chance to enjoy the Snow World for the first time. It’s great for those who want to experience playing with snow in a hot and humid country like ours. It's an enclosed area with ice slide, ice sculptures, an ice castle and ice all over. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to explore Snow World as I was inside for only about 15 minutes--couldn't stand the cold! They gave us a thick trench coat at the entrance but I was wearing flip flops, my toes were numb after a few minutes. Sorry for the bad quality photos, our camera are not allowed inside. They have their own photographer.

Here are the list of this theme park’s attractions: Grand Carousel, Kiddie Wheel, Octupus, Caterpillar, Telecombat, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Peter Pan, Kiddie Bumper, Bumper Car, Bumper Boat, Dungeon Horror House, Kilabot ng Mummy, Red Baron, Dino Island, Viking, Blizzard, Zyklon Loop, Ferris Wheel, The Time Tunnel, Gabi ng Lagim, Flying Carpet, Wacky Worm, Land of the Giants, Little Tykes, Rodeo, Surf Dance, Star Flyer, and Snow World, Fun House, and a lot of game booths were you can win yourself prices from flush toys to giant stuffed toys.

Enough with my long blah-blahs, I have more important things to do, if you want to see all the photos, just click HERE!

Perfect Summer Getaway - Doña Jovita Garden Resort

NOTE: This post is from my old blog. I decided to delete that blog due to lack of updates but I realized just how much of a treasure it is. So I'll transfer some important and precious post entry here! Enjoy!

Last Summer of 2011 (April 2-3, 2011), my elementary classmates, my family and I spent an overnight swimming at Doña Jovita Garden Resort in Calamba Laguna. This is one of the nicest hotspring resort in Laguna. It took us one hour to get there (Thank you for the ride, Lhei Saludes), although I felt tired after one hour drive but the air made me excited again. The weather was very nice.

The staff at the front desk were all nice, they even explained what will be the best for us since we were there for an overnight use only. We booked the family room for the price not reaching 5000php or $100. I asked the guy who lead us to our place what are the things that we can do to their resort, she answered that we can have a mountain climbing at the grotto located at the back of their resort. Plus, Doña Jovita -- the owner of the resort gave us a discount. She's so kind to her guests and beautiful despite her old age.

An overflowing huge pot infront of the resort is really a great attraction here.

This is the information center of the resort. I love their interior – collection of antique hard wood furniture surrounded the place.

They got a statue displays of Snowhite and Seven Dwarfs. Do I look like Snow white or one of the dwarfs? Lol!

Back to the grotto thing, we started walking at the back of the resort,we passed a plain lot with 3 statue of camels and 2 horses eating dried grasses. According to the owner, the camel displays conceptualizing a mini Holy Land later on to this empty space.

Going up to the grotto were just cemented stairs, there were no handles, and if you slip you will go straight at the bottom.

In the middle of the hike is the whole view of Laguna including the bay. Truly a captivating scenery! So we took many photographs.

Here's the picture of Mama Mary in the middle of the mountain.

--------------------

We got drunk that night and ate are packed foods, that night is one of the best experience ever, that night time we been so jolly, we talked about our childhood... silence is not an excuse, all of the time we became so noisy and happy, we kept on laughing even at 3 in the morning :) and we took a lot of pictures even at the darkest moment that night!

The resort has one (1) giant public pool with waterfalls & slides, five (5) medium-size tiled pools, three (3) kiddie pools with slides and four (4) jacuzzis which can be reserved for exclusive use. Warm mineral water can be supplied to selected pools, as desired, making swimming equally enjoyable during rainy days and cold water during summer. The Mediterranian Annex is where seminar, conferences, training and other social functions such as garden weddings, debuts, baptismal, inductions, and Christmas parties are held. The Resort has a restaurant, which offers a variety of Pilipino meals and seafood dishes.
The resort is a garden type so there are many blooming flowers everywhere. The variety of
pools and its combination with the relaxing atmosphere make Doña Jovita Garden Resort a perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends. No wonder, it`s even called the getaway. A place where I can finally escape from the problems and stress brought about by the city.

This is the giant public pool with waterfalls & slides and the water is cold.

The waterfalls comes directly from the mountain, the water is soo cold and clear!

One of the kiddie pool, it surrounded with trees.

some other swimming pool...

The water here is warm so we can swim all night...

and the cottages and rooms...

I'm so happy for that experience so I just wanna say thank you to all of you guys... (Gerlie, Lhei, Rose, Rodel)
'Till next time :)
